We work on Seniors Living Developments made under State Environmental Planning Policy – Housing for Seniors or People with a Disability 2004 ( SEPP – Seniors Living). We provide initial planning advice, Statement of Environmental Effects and lodgement of the development application.

Dwelling Houses
We provide comprehensive planning services for child care centres and have worked on development applications for centres ranging in size and for a variety of providers including Greenwood Early Learning. We prepare development applications under the Children (Education and Care Services) Regulations 2012 and the Draft State Environmental Planning Policy (Education Establishment and Child Care Facilities). We work on child care centre applications in the Sydney metropolitan and regional areas.
Childcare Centres
We provide planning services for the redevelopment – refurbishments of hotels and serviced apartment developments. We provide initial planning advice, Statement of Environmental Effects and lodgement of the development application.
Hotel Development/Serviced Apartments
We provide planning services for the development of recreation facilities. We have worked with Cross Fit Active and the Beach House water park in the preparation and approval of development applications. We have obtained approvals for a range of gymnasiums and indoor recreation facilities including rock climbing and children’s play facilities.
Recreation Facilities
We provide planning services for the development, use and fit-out of commercial and industrial premises. Our services cover a range of commercial facilities including health and medical facilities, commercial premises, retail premises and restaurants.
Industrial development applications include car repair facilities, motor showrooms, transports depots, warehouse-showrooms, waste transfer and recycling facilities.
Industrial and Commercial Development
Chapman Planning provides comprehensive planning services for planning proposals – rezoning applications made to Council and to the Department of Planning for Gateway Determination. We provide initial planning advice and liaison with Council, project management of consultants, preparation of the planning report and proposal.

Garry Chapman – Director of Chapman Planning has extensive experience in providing expert town planning evidence in Land and Environment Court appeals. Garry has provided planning evidence on a range of matters including residential flat buildings, shop top housing development, boarding houses, in-fill affordable housing, multi-dwelling housing, child care centres and dwelling houses. Garry works with a range of clients from the private section and Local Government including the Inner West Council.
